Blizzard outside? Snow problem! ❄️ Save your back this winter with a few of these tips and tricks for shovelling snow!
1.Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. (Shovelling can be quite a workout!) 2. Pick the right shovel. Choose a light weight shovel that you can push. 3. Warm up! Take a little walk around the block to get your joints moving 4. Push snow, don’t throw. Push snow to sides of your driveway instead of lifting it. 5. If lifting is necessary, bend your knees and lift with your legs. Change sides frequently to prevent repetitive motion on one side 6. Clear snow often to prevent snow from building up and becoming heavier to clear 7. Be aware of slippery surfaces, and use sand or salt to prevent slips & falls.
