What is Postpartum Rehab?


Postpartum Rehab is a form of exercise program that is specifically designed to restore your body following your delivery, with a focus on your core and pelvic floor muscles. Rehab may include breath work, as well as stretches and strengthening exercises for your core and pelvic floor.


Who Should Consider Postpartum Rehab?


Any postpartum women! Your body goes through a lot of changes and stress during pregnancy and delivery, and these changes continue during the postpartum period as well. If you have recently had a baby or years ago, you should consider getting a check up and incorporating postpartum rehab into your routine. By promoting proper healing after pregnancy and delivery your can reduce the risk of pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, incontinence, organ prolapse, and muscular imbalances. The postpartum period does not end after your 6 week check up, continue your care today!
